Halloween 2002 observations:
1. What's the point of having 21+ costume party at a club on Halloween, when people come with their faces painted (or better yet in masks) and bouncers can't often even tell the gender of people coming in.
2. It's hard for the cops to raid clubs on Halloween (look for the reason in the previous sentence) and even if they do - nobody would take them seriously assuming that their uniforms are costumes.
3. I realized that I've been missing a large piece of American culture, being unaware of SpongeBob's existence. At both Halloween parties I went to SpongeBob's costumes took the first prizes. That surprised me enormously, because being ignorant as I was I assumed that the prizes were taken by the ugly costume of cheese in a tie.
